Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb fresh salmon (finely chopped)
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 tbsp almond flour
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh dill (or parsley)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for brushing or spraying)

  • 1 Parchment Paper
  • 1 Spatula
  • 1 Knife & chopping board

Method
 

  1. Make the salmon: Finely chop the fresh salmon and put it in a mixing bowl. This will be the foundation of your bites.
  2. Combine ingredients: Add cream cheese, egg, almond flour, dill, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until the ingredients form a thick, sticky mixture.
  3. Shape the bites: Scoop small portions and roll them into bite-sized balls or gently press into mini patties. Place them evenly spaced on a parchment-lined baking tray.
  4. Cook the bites: Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown or air fry at 375°F for 12-15 minutes until crisp.
  5. Rest and serve: Allow the salmon bites to rest for 5 minutes and serve warm with your favourite keto approved dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Use skinless salmon fillets for best results.
  • Chill the mixture for 10 minutes before shaping to make it easier.
  • Air frying gives extra crispiness with less oil.
  • Stir in shredded cheese for a thicker consistency.
  • Serve with lemon wedges for freshness.
