Ingredients
  

  • cups almond flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp chopped chives or parsley (optional)

  • 1 Measuring cups and spoons
  • 1 Baking Tray
  • 1 Parchment paper or silicone baking mat

Method
 

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a tray with baking paper.
  2. Mix the Dry Ingredients: In a bowl, mix almond flour, baking powder, salt and garlic power.
  3. Add Wet Ingredients: Add eggs and melted butter to the batter, continuing to beat until a dough forms.
  4. Fold in Cheese and Herbs: Stir in the cheddar cheese and any optional herbs. Mix until evenly combined.
  5. Shape the Biscuits: Divide dough into 8 pieces, and drop onto the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake: Bake 15-18 minutes until tops are golden brown and set.
  7. Cool and Serve: Allow the biscuits to cool for 5 minutes before serving warm.

Notes

  • Portion out your biscuits with a cookie scoop for even sizing.
  • If you would like them a little fluffier just add 1 tablespoon of cream cheese into the dough.
  • You could also try adding cooked bacon bits or jalapeños for variety.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for 3 days, or freeze them for up to 1 month.
  • To keep them crisp after the first day, reheat in the oven or air fryer.
