Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 2 tbsp coconut aminos or soy sauce (sugar-free)

  • 1 Large Mixing Bowl
  • 1 Measuring Spoons
  • 1 Baking sheet or dehydrator trays
  • 1 Parchment Paper
  • 1 Cooling rack

Method
 

  1. Mix the Meat and Spices: Combine ground beef and all seasonings in a large mixing bowl. Mix thoroughly until well blended.
  2. Shape the Sticks: Roll the mixture into long, thin sticks about ½ inch thick.
  3. Prepare the Baking Sheet: Line a Baking Sheet with Parchment Paper Put remaining beef sticks on parchment paper so their not touching each other.
  4. Cook Slowly: Bake at 175°F (80°C) for 2–2.5 hours until fully cooked and slightly dry, or use a dehydrator for 6–8 hours
  5. Chill and Keep: Let sticks cool completely before keeping in an airtight container or even frozen.

Notes

  • Use lean beef to prevent excess grease.
  • For a smoky flavor, add liquid smoke.
  • Keep sticks uniform in size for even cooking.
  • Freeze uncooked sticks for quick future snacks.
  • Store cooked sticks in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
