Ingredients

  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp dried oregano or Italian seasoning

Equipment

  • 1 Mixing Bowl
  • 1 Whisk or Fork
  • 1 Baking sheet or pizza pan
  • 1 Parchment Paper
  • 1 Rolling pin (optional)

Method

  1. Preheat Oven: Begin by preheating oven to 375°F (190°C) to get that out of the way!
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine almond flour, baking powder, salt, and spices. Mix well to combine evenly.
  3. Mix in Wet Ingredients: Crack in eggs and add olive oil into the bowl. Mix until it's a soft dough.
  4. Shape Dough: Place the dough on parchment paper and press or roll it into a round pizza crust of your desired thickness.
  5. Bake Crust: Place on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until lightly golden.
  6. Add Toppings: Take the crust out, add your favorite keto toppings and push it into the oven.
  7. Final Bake: Bake for an additional 5–7 minutes until toppings are melted and crust is crisp.

Notes

  • Bake the crust a little longer first if you want it extra crispy before adding the toppings.
  • Also, parchment paper will make sure you won’t get any sticking on the sheet, and clean up is a breeze!
  • Or, put cheese in the dough, for a richer, more luxurious base.
  • Roll thinner for a crunchy crust or make it thicker for a chew.
