Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • Optional: sesame seeds, rosemary, or paprika for flavour

  • 1 Mixing Bowl
  • 1 Rolling pin
  • 1 Baking sheet
  • 1 Parchment Paper
  • 1 Knife or pizza cutter

Method
 

  1. Combine Dry Ingredients: Mix together all your dry ingredients in a medium sized bowl almond flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.
  2. Add Wet Ingredients: Crack in the egg and add olive oil, stir until it starts to clump together in a soft dough.
  3. Roll out the Dough: Lay the dough between two pieces of parchment paper and roll it thin with a rolling pin.
  4. Cut Into Shapes: With a knife or pizza cutter, cut the dough into cracker-sized squares.
  5. Bake: Place crackers on a lined baking sheet and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 12-15 minutes or until golden.
  6. Cool and Serve: Allow crackers to rest for 5 minutes, letting them crisp up perfectly before enjoying.

Notes

  • Roll dough consistently so all of the crackers bake evenly.
  • For a little extra crisp, bake 2-3 minutes longer.
  • Store in an airtight jar and these will keep for a week.
  • Try experimenting with herbs and spices for varying flavours.
