  • 1 Measuring Cups & Spoons
  • 1 Mixing spoon
  • 1 Tall glass

  1. Blend Base: In a blender, combine 2 tbsp heavy cream, 1 cup unsweetened almond milk, 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder, and ½ frozen bag of unsweetened cherries along with 2tbsp keto-friendly sweetener.
  2. Add Flavour: Add 1 tsp vanilla extract to really bring out that rich chocolate-cherry flavour.
  3. Add Ice: Add a couple of ice cubes for a cooler, slushier consistency.
  4. Blend Smoothly: Place combined mixture into a high speed blender and blend on high until you have achieved pure smoothness(this means no chunks), make sure there are no cherries not completely blended.
  5. Taste & Adjust: Test for sweetness and chocolate level, add more sweetener or cocoa if necessary.

Notes

  • For a thicker, milkshake-like texture use frozen cherries.
  • For an extra protein kick, toss in a scoop of keto-friendly chocolate protein powder.
  • For a lighter version, replace heavy cream with coconut cream.
  • Serve in a frosted glass for cooled down and chilling.
  • Do not over-blend, or the smoothie will become too thin and watery.
